February 14th show!

My wonderful boyfriend recently joined up with two friends of ours to start up a band called The Sasquatch. After only so many months of playing together they're already awesome... of course! Put three talented musicians together in the room and the result is several brand new songs after only a few hours.

On February 14th, they opened up for a great show at the Red Raven in Pueblo, which also featured Sleeping in the Aviary and local artists The Haunted Windchimes.

Baby West

Carlee Jane Smith is the beautiful baby of Rob and Jill West, who I took maternity photos for earlier in their pregnancy. I always anticipate the birth of a child for every maternity photo shoot that I do.. wondering if it's a boy or a girl, what the name might be, and of course... how adorable the baby will be! So I adored every minute of photographing this youngster, who was, at the time only six weeks old. Enjoy this beautiful addition to the world!









They also let me help them design the announcement for her birth! Even though what I put together was clearly effortless, it was still so cute. I absolutely adored receiving the photos they printed out. It makes me so happy when people enjoy the photos I take for them!

Anthony and Audra: Wedding

I met Audra through attending Young Life at Colorado State-University Pueblo. Apparently, this campus is exactly where she met her husband to be as well! It was such a cute story to hear of her admiration of him before they dated... and beyond dating... became engaged... and now, married!

These two were married at The Vineyard in Canon City, Colorado. This church is in a beautiful location with small local ranches located behind it. Perfect for Audra and Anthony's DIY love-bird wedding! Though it was a January wedding, it was a GORGEOUS day for some outside family portraits, which we definitely took advantage of. The feel of this wedding with a square dance reception resulted in some sweet country-feel photographs. These are just some of my favorites. I hope you enjoy!
